Thomas E. Strunk/ Trustee
Thomas E. Strunk is a teacher and a writer. Thomas currently teaches classical literature and history at Xavier University where he has been a professor since 2008. He is the author of the poetry collection Transfigurations (Main Street Rag Press, 2023). He has also written on Latin poetry and the music of Bob Dylan, and Dr. King as a reader of the classics. Thomas grew up in Northeast Appalachia in Minisink Hills, Pennsylvania on the Delaware River. He now lives with his wife and twin daughters in Northside, Cincinnati. Thomas has a BA in Classics and History from Pennsylvania State University and an MA and Ph.D. in Classics from Loyola University Chicago. He also has an MFA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University.
