Samuel Foulkes / Creative Writing

Samuel Foulkes has been volunteering with WordPlay since 2012, and brings his love of reading and writing (and, occasionally, chess!) to the young people of Cincinnati. When he's not having fun at WordPlay, Samuel manages Clovernook Printing House, the largest producer of braille in North America. In addition, he chairs Clovernook’s Arts & Accessibility Initiative which works with museums on accessibility projects, and he has generated guidelines and training programs for braille producers in developing countries. Samuel is currently co-authoring a professional certification course in advanced braille transcription (ever wonder how to braille a comic book or Old English?) on behalf of the Library of Congress, which will serve to improve braille production standards in the United States.
