Kristen Copeland/Trustee
Kristen Copeland, MD, is a pediatrician, researcher, and professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She works at Cincinnati Children’s Hopple Street Neighborhood Health Center, focusing on elevating marginalized voices and creating equitable systems for children and families. With 25 years of experience, her research covers physical activity, nutrition, racism’s impact on development, early childhood education, and COVID-19’s effect on school readiness. Her work has been published in leading journals and featured in major media. Outside work, she enjoys hiking, travel, reading, and practicing French and Spanish. She lives in East End with her husband, two college-age daughters, and their cat.
