Whether your student is an aspiring young writer, a reluctant reader, an avid fan of spoken word art or fired up about science and math, they can dive into one of our free summer programs unlike anything else in the city.
Summer Scholars, STEAM Scholars, WordPlay Saturdays and WordUP meet at our Northside writing center and are open to children who will be entering grades 1-12 in the fall. Be sure to register your student by June 8th to ensure they have a spot – 513-541-0930 or email@example.com.

And we would like to extend a huge thanks to our 2015 WordPlay Summer Scholars program partners for helping to provide fun educational experiences for our kids each week:
Urban Artifact has generously donated the space on the lawn of the rectory for the second year of our Summer Scholars garden, thank you!
The Northside branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County will welcome our Scholars every Monday afternoon for more great reading fun.
We are very grateful to Visionaries and Voices, who will be bringing their Teaching Artist Program to WordPlay every Thursday for multi-disciplinary art experiences.
A highlight of our Summer Scholars program, the kids will again be making their weekly walking field trip to the Northside Farmer’s Market each Wednesday for fun word scavenger games, interviews with local vendors, market-inspired creative writing projects and much, much more.
