We are excited to announce our fresh programming schedule for fall with some exciting updates and new opportunities for Northside youth and families.
For the younger set, we will be launching a new after-school program called WordPlay Scholars Learning Academy in conjunction with our partners at Chase Elementary, serving K-2nd graders referred by the school.
We are also looking forward to a new slate of creative learning Happy Hours, offered Monday-Thursday from 5-6pm, which are open to all children in grades 3-8. Registration for these limited slots will open Aug. 28th.
Also, our Saturdays are back and better than ever! Check out details of our expanded offerings, open to all who register, which will run with two-hour programs starting at noon or 2pm to serve kids in grades K-12 (depending on the program).
If you have questions or want to enroll in the weekday or Saturday workshops that are open to the public, please call (513) 541-0930 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
Finally, we are proud to share a pilot initiative: The WordPlay Writers Room at Aiken High School, which will give all students access to WordPlay programs both during the school day and after school. This pilot is made possible thanks to funding from ArtsWave, the Woodward Trust and the Haile Foundation.
