Meet our newest board members!

We are thrilled to welcome two new Trustees to the WordPlay family, Tina Macon and Ewaniki Moore-Hawkins!

“I was compelled by the deep passion that this organization has for creating a voice for our next generation. I believe in “being a part of the solution” and I believe Word Play is part of the solution in our community. I’m honored to become a part of this creative, driving, and impactful organization.” Tina Macon, the President & Senior Consultant at AllMac & Associates, LLC, said of her reasons for joining WordPlay. Joining Macon on the Board is Co-Owner and Chief Detail Officer of Soul Palette, LLC, Ewaniki Moore-Hawkins, “I am excited to join the WordPlay Cincinnati board and have admired the growth of the organization over the past 3-4 years. I am looking forward to working collectively to continue the intentional efforts to inspire and empower young people. My strength of being a creative strategic thinker coupled with my expertise of producing high-impact programming will complement the robust existing board nicely.”

Ewaniki Moore-Hawkins is a dynamic and resourceful servant leader with many years of experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, higher education, and event management. Ewaniki is the Co-Owner & Chief Detail Officer of Soul Palette, LLC. Soul Palette curates soulful paint experiences that meet their clients cultural, educational, social, professional and or spiritual needs. In 2020, Ewaniki ended an 18-year career at the University of Cincinnati-African American Cultural & Resource Center. In her last role as the Director, she was vital in expanding the vision and mission of the center while supporting the growing needs of their student constituency. Last year Ewaniki had been named as the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc- Beta Zeta Zeta Chapter ``2020 Woman of the Year” and the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc- Epsilon Lambda Sigma Chapter “Unsung Heroine Award 2020.” Ewaniki has earned a BBA & MBA from the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business and is married to Brandon Hawkins and has two beautiful daughters, Khara and Karis.

Tina Macon has over 25 years of experience in the Organizational Development and Business Coaching arena assisting businesses and organizations in the areas of Business Design, Human Capital Management design and operations, Conflict Analysis and Correction Strategies, Executive Coaching, and Training. As President and Senior Consultant of AllMac & Associates, LLC some of the clients Tina has partnered with include Xavier University, the YWCA of Hamilton, The Free Store Food Bank, Small Business Development Council (SBDC) of Hamilton County, Cincinnati Public Schools, The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and Mercy Health Partners. She has created customized programs on Human Capital Management design & implementation, leadership development, conflict management, and change management approaches and practices. Tina has a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Engagement from Antioch University McGregor and a Bachelor of Science in Labor and Human Resources Management from The Ohio State University.
